Saint Mary's University We are open this summer from May to August. We have a variety of styles of accommodations available, singles, twins, apartments and travel suites. Please see below for a description of each style. Loyola Residence Our newly renovated Loyola Residence is a 22-storey high-rise with four elevators. Within this building are two styles of accommodations. The traditional residence rooms are divided into four suites per floor. Most suites have one twin room, four single rooms, washroom and shower facilities. Bedrooms are furnished as study rooms with a captain's-style single bed, desk with hutch, lamp, closet space, chair and telephone (free local calls). The Travel Suites are private rooms(with either private or shared washrooms accessed through a semi-private hallway) with the same furnishings as the traditional residence but also feature cable TV with VCR, semi-private kitchenette with a bar fridge and microwave. All residence rooms are provided with linen and towels. Rice Residence In our Rice Residence, a 17-storey high-rise, there are six apartments per floor. An apartment consists of two bedrooms, kitchen, small living/dining room area and bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished as study rooms with two captain's-style single beds, two desks with hutches, lamps, chairs, closet space and telephone (local calls free). One apartment can house up to four people. All linen and towels are supplied, but dishes and kitchen utensils are not. Dalhousie University offers a combination of single and double rooms during the summer. Single rooms have one single bed and double rooms have two single beds. We offer student and conference rates and these rates follow: Rates: Conference single $36.39/night Conference double $57.44/night These rates include HST, linen, towels, regular membership privileges to Dalplex fitness facility. We presently have availability in O'Brien Hall, which is our traditional style residence located on lower campus on the corner of Morris and Barrington Streets.
