My 1987' GT

God did I love this car. I bought it used for about $4200 with about 60,000 miles in 1992. I was 19 when I bought it. It took everything I had, but when I brought it home, I was never more happy.

It was a stripper and had power nothing.. The first thing I did of course was take it to show off to my friends, and of  the first thing they wanted to do was race it. My buddy Bill Tumas (Qwikhuh) was the first to take a shot at it with his 91  GT convertible. That was an interesting race to say the least. (Its alwasy a good idea to stop at stop signs around blind corners )  :)

The performance bug soon hit me. The first mods I made were cheap, but the were all I could afford on a students income.. Here they were in the order that I did them..

-Welded in Two Chamber Flowmaster Muf
-March underdrive Pulleys
-3.73 Gears
-Subframe connecters
-Torque Box welding
-Cobra Upper&Lower intake
-Flowmaster Force II exhaust
-Cervini's Mach 1 hood with functional ram air
Pony wheels off of a 91'

I also changed the color of the car (from blue to red) and managed to do some halfway decent bodywork on the car as well. (See the pics to the right)

The best I ever turned with the car was a 13.6 on street tires.. Not bad for the time, considering that not many cars were in the 13s back then. I eventually sold this Car to my Buddy Shawn and bought the 94'..
