| Getting to the Roof | ||||||||
| After embedding doors and windows, we continue building the cob wall until we get to the level at which we want to install the roof. While building the wall up as fasst as we can we forget to put in a glass bottle for a nice added detail (We didn't have any nice bottles available). So after Kristina finds a nice blue bottle at the recycling center, Reid cuts out a hole in the cob for the bottle to be embedded. The roofing will be secured to round aspen poles that are embedded directly into the cob. |
