Hey, what do you think about the backdrop? Supposedly, this is an artist’s representation of the surface of Europa, one of Jupiter’s (duh!) moons. The Galileo missions have been able to bring us new and exciting information about our solar system. The surface of Europa probably has a liquid ocean, which means it might one day (or now) support life. Cool huh?
Here’s a
list of my science interest, and some useful links.
Biology:
My area
of teaching certification is biology.
The state of Delaware
standards in biology
disappoint me because they don’t include understanding of the human body. Regardless, my interests are as follows:
Biochemistry Metabolic
Pathways of Biochemistry, X Nutrition
Microbiology American Society of Microbiology ,X Microbe Zoo, X Microworld
Human
physiology MadSciNet: (this is actually a general science link, but check it out)
Medicine (particularly lab medicine) American
Society for Clinical Pathology, X MedicineNet.com - Medical

friendly. Remember, it’s not your
doctor.

basic plant information)X Longwood Gardens - Home Page (beautiful and nearby) X Botanical Diversity (good for identifying all things
plant)
