Sue Frances Welborn Woodcock Tibbitts died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, July 17, 2006, in Greenwood SC at the age of 84. She was born June 5, 1922, in West Pelzer, Anderson County, South Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Frances "Fannie" Boyce and Walter Leland Welborn, Sr. Sue was preceded in death by husband Jerry Tibbitts, son James Terry Woodcock, granddaughter Kathryn Montgomery Posey, & eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by one brother; a daughter; a son; stepchildren; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was a long time resident of Waterloo SC and a retiree from Union Carbide.
A private family service is pending; interment will follow at Cannon Memorial Park Mausoleum in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
