Team Rules Updqated: Sunday, September 15, 2002 The Following Rules are in place and must be
agreed to by all members of the team. In order to maintain
a high degree of effectiveness for practice sessions, team spirit, camaraderie,
match performance, and ultimately the overall success of the team, these
simple rules must be followed..!!
PRACTICE IS MANDATORY. When a player misses practice, two things occur: 1. the player falls behind technically (Ball Skills) and tactically (knowledge of the game). 2. The team suffers from lack of continuity and closeness. 100% EFFORT IS EXPECTED, 100% OF THE TIME. 1. Expect nothing less from yourself or your teammates. 2. Every time you step onto the field (practice or games), be prepared to give everything you have. Every time you step off the field, be able to say you gave 100%. WE ARE A TEAM. 1. There is no "I" in TEAM. 2. Everything we do (warmups, drills, sprints, win, lose); we do as a team. BE POSITIVE. 1. Positive thinking produces positive results. 2. Remember why you play soccer: because SOCCER IS FUN!! RESPECT ..!!!!!!! YOURSELF...... YOUR PARENTS........ YOUR TEAM MATES......... YOUR EQUIPMENT.... YOUR OPPONENTS...... YOUR COACHES..... YOUR REFEREES......!!!!! Everything you do, and the way
you act as an individual reflects upon the respect you have for yourself..!!
THANKS, Coach
Steve..............
