Spark Charging
Part One
As the lights britened all around Cybertron to signal a new day is beginning, the many Autobots that live in Iacon are getting ready for a potentially exciting day. It has been broadcasted that today in Iacon, the lights will be extra bright and fast paced music will play; this being the transformers equivalent of what humans would call good weather. While everyone in Iacon loves the days that are like this because they uplift everyone's sparks, this is not the only reason for why the most of fifty-three femmes are excited to start their day.
Everyday, these femmes attend a life saving class instructed by the well respected femme, Starlight. Though they enjoy being in her class and learning from her, she has sustained a bad injury and will not be teaching for the next few weeks. Despite this, they are not disappointed; for they will be learing a skill which is not only important, but considered very enjoyable. The skill is called spark charging and rumor has it the instructor is a hot mech.

"Gold Streak, Gold Streak! Wake up, wake up!" sings my roommate Windslash. She only does that when something good has happened, is happening, or will happen. "Today's the day we learn spark charging, and it's going to be fun, so let's get up and not be late!"
"Alright, chill Windslash, I'm getting up now," I answer sleeply as I climb down from my recharge pad above hers. I grabbed an energon cookie out of the box on the table and stuck it in my mouth. "I've heard alot about this spark charging, but no one has told me what it is. What is it?" I said through my energon cookie as I donned my armor.
"WHAT?!" she exclaimed as she applied her outer plating.
"Should I know?" I said, taken aback slightly at her reaction.
"Spark charging has got to be one of the most important and enjoyable skills a bot can learn!" she declared while eating her second energon cookie as I grabbed my second out of the box.
"Well then, today ought to be fun then," I replied, attaching the last part of my attire; my face plate to my helmet.
"You've got that right, let's go meet Straightshot and we can work on some flight formations on our way there," she suggested, walking out the door of our room and into the hallway.
"Yeah, I love formations, wait for me!" I called out and followed her out of our apartment room. We flew from our apartment complex over to the complex where our friend and classmate Straightshot lived. As we landed there, she was waiting for us on the stairs like she did everyday.
"Straightshot, want to work on some flight formations on the way to class?" I asked as we walked up to her.
"I'd love to Gold Streak," she replied and powered up the jets on her back. "I don't feel like leading today, who wants to lead?"
"Gold Streak, why don't you lead, you're much better at it than I am and many of the leading moves I'm not too good at," Windslash told me.
"Okay, I'll lead. But if one of you change your mind, just say so and I'll switch you places," I told them and powered up the jets on the bottom of my feet.
"Alright, let's do this!" Windslash yelled out happily and activated the rotor blades on her back. We took off in the air towards Iacon's main building where we took our classes. I flew in the front center while Windslash flanked me on my left and Straightshot on my right. A little way into the flight, we decided to do a favorite formation of ours.
"Alright, let's do the yaw(1) and switch, want to?" I suggested.
"And we can switch places on the final one?" asked Straightshot.
"Yeah, how many, Three? Five?" I offered, giving them suggestions.
"Five sounds good to me," Windslash replied to my question.
"All agree on a yaw and switch for five?" I asked both of them.
"Yeah," they both replied.
"Okay. On my signal, ready?" I commanded.
"Ready," replied both of them.
Pausing for a split second, I saw on the ground that a few mechs and femmes heading for Iacon's main building were watching us. "GO!" I yelled out signalling for us to begin.
Windslash yawed of to the left, Straightshot of to the right and I pitched(2) upwards. All of us flew in a circle to meet back up where we started only now Windslash was on my right and Straightshot on my left. Flying farther towards our destination, we then flew off again in a circle; Windslash then returning to my left and Straightshot on my right. We continued this three more times until we could see the main building for Iacon in clear detail on the horizon.
"Okay, that was excellent," I exclaimed back to them and turned to fly on my back.
"Yeah, we can do more later, we should save our energy for our class today, I know we'll be needing it because it's spark charging after all," stated Straightshot.
"And what's better, there's a rumor that our teacher is going to be a mech!" grinned Windslash.
"Well, I can see how you would need energy for spark charging, because to charge one's spark, a form of energy is needed," I said explaining my reasoning to them. "But as for I know little of it, I don't quite understand how a mech would come into the senario."
"You've got the energy part down somewhat, but about how a mech comes into the picture, I think it's really nice when they-"
"No, don't tell her yet!" Windslash interupted her suddenly.
"Why not?"
"I thought it might be great as a suprise," she admitted.
"Great idea, Windslash. So who do you like?" Straightshot asked her.
"A mech you mean?"
"Yeah, so do you like anyone?"
"Yeah, I do."
"Who is it, Windslash?" I asked her.
"He's on our team," she hinted.
"That tells us much, you like Lightflame, don't you," Straightshot pointed out.
"Yeah, could neither of you tell tell him please, you're the only two who know at this point," she requested of us.
"Sure, their your feelings," I said putting my hand on her shoulder. "If anyone of us is going to tell him, it's going to be you at the right time."
"Aww, thanks you guys, who do you like Straightshot?"
"Mine might be hard to belive."
"Oh try us, I'm sure it's more beliveable than who I like," I admitted. They looked at me for a few seconds.
"Okay, I like Sideswipe," she confessed.
"The Sideswipe that went to earth to help with the minicon battle?" Windslash described.
"Yes, that's him, I always thought he was cute," she confirmed. "Hey Gold Streak, didn't you say that you were a human once and you knew Optimus Prime and the other Autobots pesonally?"
"Yes that's true," I replied to her.
"What was he like?" Straightshot asked me.
"When I first met him, he was telling us alot about Blurr and asked where he was at the time," I told them. "He wasn't that skilled in combat at the time, but he's gotten better."
"Wow, so who do you like Gold Streak?" asked Straightshot. "You said that it's not quite as beliveable as who I like."
"Well, my answer might shock you a little, normally I can answer you on questions without hesiatancy, but for some reason I just find it hard to tell," I confessed.
"You don't have to tell us his name, just describe him to us by answering simple questions," Straightshot suggested.
"I can do that."
"Okay, first question," started Windslash. "It's been a short while since you claim you became a transformer, did you know him when you were a human?"
"Yes, I did."
"Does he know that you're a transformer?" asked Straightshot.
"No, I haven't met him yet, let alone figure out a way to tell him," I replied. "Huh, what time is it?!"
"It's a few minutes before class starts," answered Windslash.
"We might be late for once, LET'S GO!" I commanded and sped off towards the building, Straightshot and Windslash following me close behind. We landed on the front steps and ran inside. Only having a few minutes and needing to get to the twentieth level fast, we didn't waste any time in running for the stairs.
"Hang on tight, Windslash, this is going to be fast," linking my arm tight to hers, I powered up my jets, enabliling me to run faster up the stairs; Straightshot following my lead. We managed to get to the twentieth level without running into anyone, until I ran around the corner for the classroom a little too fast.
SMACK!
"Oh, oww, hey someone get his license plate number," I groaned looking up at the ceiling.
"What was that Gold Streak?" asked Windslash.
"Oh, sorry, phrase I used to use when I was human," I replied trying to sit up, but was stopped suddenly by whoever I smacked into.
"Don't try to move, just lay there for a minute. Now, are you alright miss?"
"I feel fine," my vision was fading in and out of static, not letting me clearly see who was holding my head up off the ground.
"What's your name?"
"My name is," at that point, my vision finally cleared of all static, letting me see who I ran into and I fell speechless at who it was. I belive Straightshot answered his question for me.
"Oh, her name's Gold Streak, Sir."
I nodded my head.
"Well then, Gold Streak, it's a pleasure to meet you."
At that point, I was then able to shake myself out of shock. "Yes, Sir, you too," replied and slowly stood up.
"I belive class is starting now, which class is yours?" he asked us.
"That one over there," I pointed to the open doorway.
"Well then, better get to class now," he said.
"Yes, Sir," Windslash replied to him. Even though I could walk well, Straightshot still help me walk into the classroom. Everyone else was already there in their seats; luckily many of them knew that the three of us sat together and left three empty seats next to each other about halfway up the stair-like platforms. Kazekaji, the team leader to Windslash and I, was sitting next to the end of one of the empty seats waving to us; we walked up the stairs to her and sat down.
"Good morning, you three aren't usually late," she stated. "What's up?"
"We were having an interesting conversation on the way here and kind of lost track of the time," answered Straightshot.
"Oh, what about?"
"Spark charging and who we like," Windslash told her.
"So who do you like?" she asked us.
"Well, I like Lightflame, please don't tell him, won't you Kazekaji?" pleaded Windslash.
"Don't worry, I won't."
"I like Sideswipe and Gold Streak is a little shy on who she likes," Straightshot told her. "Hey that reminds me, why did you suddenly freeze up for a few seconds when you ran into the guy just now; is that the mech you like?" she asked me enthusiastically.
It took a few seconds before I finally managed to nod my head to her question.
"Aww, you do like him, that's nothing to be embarrased about," she said putting her arm around my shoulder; she was sitting on the right of me and Windslash on the right of her.
"Who did you run into?" Kazekaji asked me.
"Well, since we were late, we had to run all the way up here," her optics britened slightly at hearing this. "We didn't run into anyone on the stairs, until we got to this level and I smacked right into someone."
"Who did you run into?" she asked me again.
"She ran into him," Windslash pointed to the mech that had just walked into the room, the same mech who I had just ran into; many of the femmes in the room gasped and wispered to each other.
Kazekaji saw who it was. "You didn't!"
"I, uh, did," the mech took off his sheild and a rather large gun, placing it on the desk in the middle of the room.
"Okay, quiet please ladies," he said, walking infront of the desk with his hands held behind his back. "I am sorry for your main instructor, Starlight, who last night as many of you already know, fell down a flight of stairs. She is now in CR, well on her way to recovery. Many of you have heard rumors that a male instructor would be instructing her class for the next few weeks. What you heard ladies," he walked over to the left of the desk and leaned on it with one hand, "is true."
Most everyone in the room whispered something over to the femme next to her.
"As many of you seem to think that I will be the one teaching the class," he pauses, "you are correct."
More soft noise is heard from the class and he turns his head to look out the window on the left of the room until everyone quieted down a bit.
"From most of your reactions, most of you seem to know already who I am. But I will tell you for those of you who do not know," he looks out the window again as if to make a dramatic pause. He then turned his head back to the class and looked straight at me to my shock and surprise. "My name is Jetfire, I am the Vice-Commander of the Autobots, but you can call me Jet."
