cobalt_smith with that something seeps from his body and covers him as he is body is coverd in the black liquid like material blades form on his arms to 2 ft long and angleing from his hands to his elbows cobalt_smith moves around slightly cobalt_smith: i think im comfortable lord_dartimein_grimwulf sighs and touches a ring on his hand. His whole form is suddenly covered with silver for a moment before the coloring dades away. He turns back to the weapons rack and picks out a lightly enchanted staff that is a full six feet long. The enchantment is jsut strong enough to damage cobalt when it strikes, not strong enough to harm him. He steps foward and holds the staff in both hands, near the middle. HIs feet are blanted a foot apart and crooked at the knees. He begins to spin the staff quickly to one side and then the other, keeping the staff of silvery white flashing in the sun....his crimsone clothes flare i nthe slight breeze created and his hair shines brightly as he azes at Cobalt, waiting for him to make the first move cobalt_smith looks to him his own blades shimmering in the light as he moves he lowers himself into a crouched stance alloweing for great bursts of speed and great ballence as well cobalt_smith as he remains motionless he only stands 8 ft away from dart with a burst of blurry motion his right arm lunges out as what appears to be a ball connected to string flys at darts chest with incredible speed just before it reaches him with a flash of light it darts out thousands of needle like thorns each one tipped with a neurotoxin that acts in three one thousanths of a second noting they all fly at dart covering every square ft on him and around him ((note im not saying they connect)) lord_dartimein_grimwulf sees the spines fly at him and spins the staff quickly. He is a full three inches shorter than the staff so it covers his full height adn most of the way around both his sides. He spins so fast that the staff seems to become a solid shield. Hearing the ticks of the deflected spikes off his staff adn gloves he smiles faintly and slows the staff down. With that he leaps foward and snaps the higher end of the staff down and from the right in a cross chop against Cobalts side cobalt_smith with that he he lunges forward inside darts attack pulling his ball of attack thorns back into his body he lunges his left fist at his chest with incredible speed and stregth behind it his right leg is forwad and left back right leg bent at the knee and left pushing into the ground to gain in force and speed of his attack in such close courters with dart lord_dartimein_grimwulf spins the staff quickly about in the same direction as he leaps straight up and tothe right. He contimues with the arc of the staff and aims this attack at the back of Cobalts head. cobalt_smith jumps with him not fully sencing the impending attack as it connects with a loud BANG into his back left shoulder he rolls forward in mid air with the blow as he does a front flip landing firmly on the ground and crouches into his previous stance his back only slighlty phased from the hit lord_dartimein_grimwulf continues his leap and lands a few feet away. He holds his staff back in his ready position. He seems to concentrate suddenly and his eyes glow with a suprising intensity, almost as if he has been angered. He concentrates more and twin beams of light issue forth in a silent blast. THe energy beams move quickly, into cones starting from his eyes and gtting fully five feet in circumfrence as they reach cobalt. Cobalt feels the bitter cold as the beams draw close cobalt_smith watches these come near as he feels a chill his body bursts with a purple glow knowing dart knows what this means it only lasts long enough to let the beams pass over him hardly effecting him the aura dies and he rushes at dart seeming to come out of the white beams as to have the advantage of surprise but knowing it wont help him much as he reaches dart he does yet another surpriseing thing as he leaps up and unleashes two of the thorn full sphears one in front of dart and one behind noting there is almost no escape lord_dartimein_grimwulf leaps up and over Cobalt fully, enacting his rarely abilities in levitation. He simply speeds away and slips behind Cobalt, letting him take the effects of the explosion. He does begin to spin his staff into a shield though, just in case... cobalt_smith watches as the thorns fly in only horizontal lines he pulls them back and turns around quickly flying at dart with incredible force and speed stopping just short of him and spins backwards and in with his right arms blades out so as to damage his weapon if they connect full on lord_dartimein_grimwulf steps back out of range of the attack and narrow his eyes again. He concentrates and suddenly snaps the lower end of teh staff up between cobalts legs. As he does this he releases another of his eye creted energy blasts, this time increasing the cold from bitter to bone chilling... cobalt_smith with that that same purple aura bursts from him as he bends his right knee in the staff connects full on making a sound of thunder the beams hit him and have little effect once again as he bursts at dart yet again through the beams hopeing for a bit of surprise on his side as he unleashes what was thought to be a lightning fast attack at his face with his right fist but notices his body moves only a bit slower from his seeming ice attack lord_dartimein_grimwulf steps to the right, leading Cobalts fist as he jerks his head back, not stupid enough to fall from such a straight foward attack. He plants the staff end intothe ground as he moves, twisting it between Cobalts legs, making for an easy trip inless CObalt can move away. He feels his face redded as Cobalts fist just grazes his cheek, but he recovers in less than the blink of an eye cobalt_smith leaps up and away spinning his body to the left unleashing another thought to be fast attack only this time it is slightly faster then his fist being his legs are stronger as his right foot flys at darts head with a crushing force that only dart would ever have to encounter being that cobalt knows he is in for a rather long battle lord_dartimein_grimwulf ducks the kick and looks at Cobalts leg as it passes. He concentrates once again and unleashes a concentrated blast of frost from his glittering sapphire eyes. As he does this he snaps the end of the staff that was against the ground upwards and at the small of Cobalts back. cobalt_smith feels the chilling beam of energy just barely hit his leg almost freezing that small part of his calf instantly he continues his spin as the staff rolls off his back still making a thunderus boom as it connects he comes down bringing his fist down in a half axe handle attack at darts right shoulder knowing he is a bit preocupied controling that fast moving staff cobalt_smith right fist^^ lord_dartimein_grimwulf feels the blow connect with his shoulder and drops to his right knee, cushoning the bow with distance. He shakes his head slightly, irritiated at his own sloppiness . As the end glances off Cobalts back the other end of the staff snaps intothe ground. He uses the re-coil to snap the top end up and over, smashing at Cobalts left shoulder in a quick move, enhanced by the powerful re-coil of the staff cobalt_smith watches the blow come at him almost helpless to do otherwise it smashes into his shoulder sending him back 10 ft as his own feet dig deep into the ground he instantly lunges back at him as though attacking in fury but is a ploy to hopefull sway dart and make him think that as he just reaches him he drops down on his hands bringing his left in a cercular motion at darts legs while at the same time bringing his right foot at his head in a cercular kapuada move lord_dartimein_grimwulf since he is kneeling already he rolls backwards a few feet and to his feet and away from both attacks. As he comes up he does a small hop straight up only a foot or so and then snaps the end of his staff hard at the Top of Cobalts head cobalt_smith noting he is in a horizontal possition he trys to use his hands to launche himself at an angled hand jump but the sudden pain in his shoulder prevents him from making this move full on as the staff smashes into his right shoulder his body spins in mid air as he lands he flings yet another sphear of thorns at dart knowing he cant use his staff this time as it extends from his right hand it goes to only 3 ft away before unleashing all one thousand thorns at him lord_dartimein_grimwulf as he lands fro mthe attack he sees teh sphere coming and grimaces, not intersted at all in the vicious attack. He concentrates and holds his hand out. Enacting another ability inherent in this form he suddenly seems to partially fade away. He has simply entered a vaporous form, as has his items. He lets the thorns pass through him and then releases the power, becoming solid again. he slips his staff up and waits, taking the moment or two nessissicary to recover cobalt_smith watches this with a smile on his face just as dart reforms his body he dashes at him with lightning speed his right leg not bothering him at all as that only the calf is frozen he unleashes a crescent kick that seems simply enough but just as it reaches darts right side a large deadly spike extends from it at almost twice the speed of his kick nothing on it as far as poison it only aimed to knock him away lord_dartimein_grimwulf plants the end of the staff in the ground and pushes foward as the kick and spike come close, snagging the spike away from him. He uses the heavy pull of Cobalts weight to lift him and pull him foward, up and over Cobalts kicking form. As he flips he stabs straight down, the end of the staff aiming for teh top of Cobalts head cobalt_smith moves forward as his foot lands on the ground the spike withdrawing back to his foot darts blow only slides down his back making spars as it does he turns and leaps up bringing his left leg up at darts mid flight attacking form in an effort to hit his legs and cause perhaps some damage lord_dartimein_grimwulf sees the foot coming from his upside down perch and shrugs, rolling up in a ball with the staff still extended. He takes the kick with grace, wincing slightly and counting his blessigs that he was already moving in the direction of the kick. As he is rolled over the staff spins, snapping in a heavy rolling blow at Cobalts lowr back cobalt_smith trys to side step the attack but his mid attack foot forces him to move slightly slower as the staff hits him square on it sends him a few feet back and away as he crouches again his right leg calf frozen his left shoulder in emence pain his right shoulder in some moderate pain and his back achs from teh repeated shots and the strip taken to it he looks to dart with an emence aura flowing from his eyes as he unleashes a powerfull beam from them as he had done only instead of cold it is white fire hot as it cones out comeing at dart lord_dartimein_grimwulf lands on his feet easily and lightly, turning to face Cobalt. He stands against the beam and unleashes his own icy blast of energy, not harming cobalt but canceling out both energy attacks. As he releases his energy he draws a slender stick about a foot long and an inch wide. It is carved with many runes, but seems to have no real magic. He tosses this suddenly towards cobalt, and it flys past his right shoulder and on, then the projectile turns in the air and cones back at double its thrown speed and power boomeranging towards teh back of cobalts head. he continues to fend of teh blast with his own.... cobalt_smith sencing the pending attack from the extra sences of his symbiote he unleashes a back fist at the projectile deflecting it but as he connects with it his fist unleashes 100 little spikes at it aiming to either distroy it or harm it beyond being used again his eyes concentrated on dart still lord_dartimein_grimwulf the boomerang is easily destroyed by the powerful Cobalt, but the distraction caused by this lets Dartimein slip to the side and even closer. He suddenly swings low, aiming his staff at Cobalts Stomach in a left to right blow. he make sno sound as he does this, just seeming to materialiaze nearer Cobalt. He increases the presure of his eye beams as he attacks cobalt_smith seeing almost no way out he leaps up and does a wide front flip in the air keeping his gaze upon dart as his aura around him intensifies as his own energy flowing to dart intensifies almost 2 fold instantly his form lands and keeps the energy flowing at him feeling a drain on him but loveing the thrill of battle he barely notices it for now as his right foot begins to slightly thaw out from the emence heat that is being backlashed on his body lord_dartimein_grimwulf suddenly he stops his energy blast, not wanting to waste any more energy on it, and the abruptness of the ceased move he hopes throws Cobalt off balance leaps low and foward, holding his staff with his right hand and drawing a short baton with his left. He comes in low and swings the heavy baton at the outside of Cobalts tight knee. As he swings low he plants the end of his staff in front of him, just in case cobalt_smith with that his own energy simply stops flowing as he looks down to dart a quick unseen blow hits his knee sending him into a sideways spin he controls himself with his levitating abilities as he brings his right foot out and down at darts head noting the momentum from the blow delevered by dart and his initial spin would increase the strength and speed of this attack lord_dartimein_grimwulf smiles faintly as he suddenly pushes his weight against the staff planted in the ground. the staff bends almost to breaking and suddenly snaps straight, launching him way from Cobalts attack. As he lands he hurls the baton at the still airborn Cobalts chest. cobalt_smith continueing his spin the batan flys at him missing his chest but hits his right arm full on and bounces off with a loud clang as though hitting a solid wall of steel he lands keeping his right leg out his left bent at the knee crouched low his left hand above his head and right hand palm open and direacted at dart he says a quick chant as a small sphear collects at the curve of his hand his chanting growing in intensity the sphear grows in density with him cobalt_smith suddenly with an incredible amount of energy releases it flys at dart being just as hot as his eye beams but flys at 5 times the speed lord_dartimein_grimwulf he hears chanting and begins his own chant. Speaking in a language far removed from the arcane words that human mages know he draws energies from his far off true form. He watches as the ball forms and is launched but worries not at all. He lifts his left hand and concentrates into it. A faint light spreading out in a circle, like a shield to protect him lord_dartimein_grimwulf He speaks faster, thinking to turn this to his advantage and begins to twist the words of the spell. The white energy shield grows larger and becomes cupped, facing outwards. The colors deepen to crimson, as deep red as hearts blood and he grins as the ball hits and he slids back, his boot heels making runnels in the dirt for a foot or two. THe ball of energy from cobalt is caught and dissapated, but the energies are not lost, they are absorbed intothe shield. He reverses teh chant quickly and feels the energy flow through him and into the ground, giving a bit more power to Kiarake, his island... cobalt_smith watches as dart does this he leaps off his bent left leg like a spring as he thrusts out both hands they instantly form a solid mass that flys at dart with incredible speed just as this mass reaches him it instantly spreads out forming a graph of hundreds of little square all connected and spreading out a totall of 20 square feet like wires if they connect they will slightly cut whatever they connect with as they glow with the same aura as his eyes he smiles slightly only imagining how dart will react to this lord_dartimein_grimwulf drops his corpreal form again, this time suprised at such a deadly move. He barely makes it away in time, out of his solid form and feels a sting as the net barely touches him. He floats behind Cobalt adn turns, taking on his solid form again and drawing three long bladed daggers from his belt. He launches them off all at once, all three flying at Cobalt, two at his back and one at the back of his left thigh. As he does this he feels a twinge in his right shoulder and sparses a glance. He frowns as he sees blood seeping from a grid shaped wound cobalt_smith sences dart move behind him being his symbiote give him multi realm perseption he turns as the net simply disapates he fires the energy from his eyes at the daggers but only deflecting two the third that flys at his thigh continues at him he moves just barely in time as it digs a surprising gash in his leg he digs his feet in the ground and launches himself at dart noting he is in close proximity just as he reaches him his body seems to explode with an unrelinquishing amount of spikes all go out in all directions a full 20 ft as his body mass seems to go down only slightly he notes he is only feet away from dart his eyes changing from there white glow to a deeper and seemingly darker red glow lord_dartimein_grimwulf decides taht Cobalt is becoming MUCH too serious and sighs, seeing that he too will have to increase his own attacks in turn. Hos brow furrows as he forces his ring to even more strength, almost burning it out. The spikes that CObalt fires off jsut tick off his now nearly impenetrable form, at lesat impenertrable long enough to stand the attack. As he does this he opens his eyes wide and fires off a full intensity blast of killing frost, the bea coming out faster that before and widening to a full 7 feet towards cobalt, even as close as he is. As the spikes pass he brings his staff about from behind him in a vicious slash agains tCObalts right side, putting most of his strength intothe blow cobalt_smith watches his attack basically bounce off him as he retracts as fast as he shot them out his body instantly takes to a purple glow the crystals that flow throughout his symbiotes body now becoming active for only a moments time the beam hits him full on sending him into a roll on the ground as he feels the emence cold souround his body his eyes glow an even more intence red as frost hangs from his form he stands quickly and looks to dart noting his attack missed him because of his roll he simply smiles lord_dartimein_grimwulf steps foward, twirling the staff in a dizzying display. he snaps it first to the right side of Cobalts head and then if that hits or not he snaps it back around ad low in blur at the left side of Cobalts knee. As he launches this attack he snaps off a kick straight foward at cobalts stomach. As these three attacks all come together he opens his mouth, seems to choke a moment, and tehn vomits out a stream of deadly acid at Cobalts chest cobalt_smith screams an earth shattering yell that rocks the earth below them as the sound waves hit dart the acid is blown back at him but this costs for each of hsi three physical attacks all connect with thunderus force and booms with each one he leaps back and crouches slightly on his right leg feeling the throb of pain course through it he thrusts out both hands as beams of energy fly at dart hot as the core of the sun just as they reach him only feet away the left one explodes with a massive boom as the other is only there in case he dodges that direction lord_dartimein_grimwulf cares not at all that his own acid hit him since he is immune to his own special attacks anyway. He feels teh building heat and leaps straight up, and contiunes to go up, dodging both beams. He snaps the staff straight down, poking at Cobalts head again, this time much harder than the last. As he does this he opens his mouth again and gives his second and final burst of deadly acid, since his resources for it are drained. the green steaming caustic fluid pitterrs down in an acidic haze that covers CObalts area for about three feet a side cobalt_smith with that a flash of light is seen and cobalt is simply gone seeming to do that which dart has done multiple time though its a ploy he has simply used a burst of energy to escape that which is coming at him with a deadly force he appears 20 ft away from his previous position and behind dart completely as he unleashes yet another screen of wire like energy this time that flys at dart its glow intensified so as to compinsate for his more dence form his energy actually starting to deplete he can feel it but is loving this battle too much to stray lord_dartimein_grimwulf floats up above the net and then drops like stone as it passes below him. He leaps foward and snaps his staff out again in a quick attack routine, the first shot going at Cobalts face, but the next coming low as he spins the bottom under and At Cobalts Crotch. While he launches these two attacks he draws a finaly weapon from his belt. a long whip studded with razors and heavily enchanted. He just holds the whip for the moment, rolled up and waiting to be put to deadly use cobalt_smith watches the attacks come at him as he brings up his right arm a thunderus boom is heard again and again as he blocks each blow the second block ghis left arm goes low and arms strikes at the staff again then the final blow is blocked by thrusting both fists down with the same spike attack he used on the boomerang though this time energy is instilled in them to compinsate for the stronger staff after that he instantly thrusts out a vicious attack with his right fist directily at darts very close chest lord_dartimein_grimwulf twirls around to Cobalts back, dodging the attack, accepting the loss of the staff without a word. He leaps backwards and snaps the long whip once, and thena gain, this time at Cobalts legs. He sees teh lost Baton and scoops this up. Smiling faintly again as he holds it easily in his free left hand. cobalt_smith allows the whip to connect thinking it shouldnt do too much damage but he was wrong as it actually makes scours in his legs he leaps up dodging the second attack as he leaps back he forms his tetra blade not in intention to battle with swords but to show something he has in this blade that he has almost never used lord_dartimein_grimwulf jerks the whip back suddenly, and since it hit he tries to pull cobalt off his feet. Otherwise he does nothing mor, letting teh enchanged blades do his work as they stay wrapped around cobalts legs. He waves the Baton slightly to ready it cobalt_smith smiles as carnophage works hard to push out the blades that are in his leg as his leg glows that familiar purple glow it seems for a time that he has a leg that is all purple showing the anti matter to go to work at the blades eventually disolving them but his leg is still heavily damaged it quivers as though trying to repair itself but cannot as he goes back into a battle ready stance lord_dartimein_grimwulf grimaces as he feels the toll his bloodied shoulder has taken from snapping the whip. He looks at the now half as long whip and shrugs. Deciding on another approach he tosses the handle out adn catches the end, making a makeshift mace with the steel handle as the head. He steps foward withthe baton and anaps off three strikes as quick as lightening. the first at Cobalts head, the second at his left arm and the third a strike against his hip. He swigs his other hand and snaps the mace/whip at the left side of Cobalts head cobalt_smith blocks each attack in succession each blow hurting emencly as sounds of what seems like thunder once again ring out in through the forest just as the last attack at his head is blocked full on his arms aching horribly he dashes at dart unleashing three lighting fast attacks at him himself the first two are fist attacks at his right then left shoulder the third is a kick to his side braught straight off the ground at him just before reaching him again it unleashes 5 massively strong spikes at him using the force to hopefull penetrate his armor a little bit if nothing else lord_dartimein_grimwulf as close as he is he takes the blows and grimaces in pain as he is battered first on thte right and then left shoulder and finally being kicked in the side. He lets the kick launch him into a lazy cartwheel that allows him to get away from teh spikes. As he stops he launches first the baton with most of his strength at Cobalts side and whips his mace/whip at teh back of CObalts head, releasing the weapon at the apex of it';s swing to increase it's damage. As he releases the weapons he grabs his side and gingerly tests it for broken ribs. Finding none he sighs in reliefe and pain cobalt_smith is hit full on with the batan it hits with enough force to send him almost completely out of the way as the tip of whips handle smaks his shoulder it sends him in a sidways spin in mid flight he gains control of himself as he lands almost like a spiderman crouch he looks up to dart his shoulder in emence pain along with a few other areas of his body as he notes he has no bones so none are broken though it still feels like it lord_dartimein_grimwulf looks about, seeing he is out of weapons cobalt_smith with that he stands his entire body pulsing in slight pain lord_dartimein_grimwulf: Enough, We could continue this, launching magical attacks, but I must take in the welfare of my island and people over my own pleasure..... cobalt_smith he smiles with great pleasure flowing through his body and face outweighing the pain as he looks to dart cobalt_smith: indeed lord_dartimein_grimwulf looks at his shoulder, suprised that still bleeds freely, He sighs and winces as his ribs feel the pressure of lungs expanding cobalt_smith: and i need to take that into account myself as well Allys, untill the bitter end....
