Welcome to my Page of Six Flags America Pictures!Rick and I took the Trip to Largo Maryland four Our 6th Wedding anniversary.Such a good Husband for putting up with my Coaster obsession, lol.
                                                           Batwing
New for Six Flags America 2001 is Batwing.Batwing was built by Vekoma and, it is called a Flying Dutchman. This was a very brand new experience for us and, all we could say was wow.You don't sit under the track nor do you sit above it but, you either lay under it or,lay on it.Totally unique experience and very close to the sensation of flying. As you leave the station after boarding the train your row of seats start to recline and before you hit the top of the lift you are totally on your back.
Joker's Jynx
Built by Premier in 1999, Jokers Jynx is a full circuit Linear Induction Coaster.Launching to a speed of 60 miles an hour and, through four tight inversions.
                                     Superman:Ride Of Steel
New for 2000, Superman was built by Intamin AG and is also a      hypercoaster.Standing tall at 208ft with a drop height of 205ft this is one wild ride. Two helixes both equipped with headchoppers, you can totally feel the speed and intensity of this Intamin Hyper.
                                                         Wild One
Ok, so it's not the best picture but, this is huge and hard to get a full shot of.Built in 1986 by John A. Miller, Wild one is a very smooth Wooden coaster that has some very interesting suprises. I won't tell you about them and possibly spoil it if you go down and ride it.Wild One stands at 98ft with a drop of 88ft.
                                      Two Face:The Flip Side
This is what they call an Invertigo Coaster.Built by Vekoma in 1999, Two face gives a unique ride because, if your lucky enough and time it rite you will be able to face your friend/partner during the ride. You also get hoisted back behind the loading station and then your released and you whiz back through the loading station and go through 3 quick inversions.
                                                        ROAR!
This Great Coasters International (GCI) wooden twister coaster was built in 1998 and stands at 90ft. This was definately one of Rick's favorites for the day because, it just twists and turns like there is no tomorrow, lol.
Mind Eraser
A Vekoma suspended looping coaster that was built in 1995 and stands at 115ft with a drop of 95ft.Rick and I were so happy we saved this for last because, as suspected we came off with a bit of a headache.
