When you step into through the giant GOLIATH I you know that some good theming is coming. Through the queue you see many palm trees and great views of the first drop. Near the station is half of Goliath's head, which is pretty cool. You climb stairs that show how monstrous this ride really is. Tension Mounts. You enter the station, and onto your yellow and orange train. Into an about face turn around, and up the oddly short lift you climb. Up here you get great views of the parking lot, and of Superman's track, and station. One great thing is when Superman launches and you're headed up the lift. And then after sitting there taking in the view you start to feel yourself slip downwards. If you're in the front and you're looking into the tunnel you think How the heck am I gonna fit in there? Don't worry�. The drop gives you a good pop of airtime if you're in the back and a scary hang time if you're in the front. Into a turnaround, 200 feet in the air. Look down, that'll get scare you crapless, if you're not already. Down the second hill into the greatest airtime in the park. The bunny hop gives you great feeling of Oh, My god I'm gonna fall out of my seat. And then the sad mid-course brakes ,this is where the fun starts. Into a spaghetti bowl layout of turns, with a hardcore helix in the middle� This thing sustains about 4.6 g's, and has been known to cause blackouts. That's the ride. |
Ratings: Themeing: 6\10 Queue is good, but during the ride it's all concrete. Ride: 9/10 Although the drop and Helix are amazing. it just doesn't have as much airtime as a hyper usually does. |
