Six Flags St. Louis
Part 1
Here is a crazy page of trips pics for you to enjoy. These are from Six Flags opening day a year ago. What has changed in that time, well not much. Except for the fact that Mike's hair grew like 8 inches since those pictures and I am now employed there.  Like I said, nothing major. It should be noted that this was also opening day for EXCALIBUR! Oh joyousness. They had a ride opening ceremony complete with bagpipers and a ribon cutting. Woo! As for the rest of the day, we only had to share the park with 3,000 other people, so there were plenty of rides to go around. FUN FUN!
Back to Trip Pics
First ride of the day had us hanging on the edge of our seats. Bad Pun. I wonder if this Batman is the Michael Keaton Batman or the Val Kilmer Batman.
Themeing, maybe. Result of last nights staff party, more likely.
Yay, I survived Batman: The Rid. Although it seemed very familiar......oh well. I needs me a turkey leg!
Our descent from the Bat Cave. Woo!
So, its a swinging ship ride that is themed around the ingestion of humans? Sounds like Soilent Green to me, or is it purple?
And now for the Black Belt of Roller Coasters. It is really funny how Six Flags has tried to throw cultural diversity into the park. This happens to be in the orient section which is comprised of this, and the Wok and Roll restaurant (stereo typing at its best).
But all that really matters is that I had my picture taken with a REAL NINJA! Sweet Action. (Ack, sunspots!)
Just an exciting picture of a very unexciting ride.
Ah, mine train. My home away from home. If I actually go to work this is where I spend most of my time. You wouldn't believe the number of people who ask if they get wet on this ride just because river is in the title.
The lift one booth. Good memories. Basically one very lucky individual gets to stand up here for three hours at a time watching to make sure the roller coaster doesn't spontaneously combust or something.
Look at that killer drop right out of the station. Dang!
The purpose of this little shack is a mystery. Mike decided to go visit the elves that live inside.
Finally we get to Eagle, my first coaster. Classy ride, although it smacks you in the face with patriotism. I mean it is painted red, white, and blue, it has an eagle as its trademark, and it is sponsored by freakin' AMERICAN online.
When i mentioned above that is was painted red, white, and blue, I forgot to mention that is it also a nice shade of "GIVE ME SOME FREAKIN PAINT!"
A roller coaster mosaic.
Yea, finally a picture of Excalibur. Stupid piece of junk. At least there is a really nice tree blocking the view. So enjoy this pic of a tree.
See Part 2 for more thrilling pictures!
