It's the Babies' first ValleyFair visit of the year! Do the Happy Dance!
BONUS: Captions on the bottom of the pics--like God intended! (2nd Jeremiah 46:20)
And that by itself warrants more Happy Dancing!
Playing in the test seat for Steel Venom is FUN, until...
The fateful moment Daddy says...
...you're tall enough to ride.
"Is this like when you're about to die, just more fun?"
"Good. Cuz when you die, that's not really fun."
Tall enough for Steel Venom and Power Tower, how about a spinning ride?
Sorry, too short. Go ride something 200 feet tall instead!
Or you could ride the "One eyed Monster with the giant Afro..."
...which is one of the few rides we all still fit together. Sorta.
New for 2004...the Rockin' Tug!
Fun for some kids, scary for others. Hey, why's the big one scared?
Also new is the Foam Ball Factory. Nothing like smacking people with stuff.
Uh....why are there so many grownups in here?
Sometimes small changes are huge.
The Spooky Tree slide had an observation area where you could watch kids.
Of course a well-timed "Muuuahahahahaaaa!" would resonate and
send them all running down the stairs.
No fun this year. Spoilsports.
Also a surprise addition-- a hedge maze of tiny shrubs.
But why? Who'd get lost in this?
Toddlers soiling their Pullups as they howl "Mahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-Meeeeeeeeeee!!!!"
Johnny, if you don't behave I swear I'll put you in the hedge maze!
One, two...
Little kids just love the new 'Squiggles' show!
But if you're a little older...
Eep.
After grub, Midget does a Happy Dance.
"Can we ride more stuff? Can we ride more stuff?"
"Can we go Can we go Can we go CAN WE GO?"
"Oh. You're waiting for me?"
We end a great day with a suck photo taken by a passerby ride op.
Guess photos are best left to the pros at the front gate!
Midget does a better job with a make-believe camera.
