Our School:Our school has a proud history of providing expert instruction with effective and proven training methods. While at the same time, emphasizing both character and personal skill development for our students. Our approach to training has been proven effective in both self-defense and sport applications. Karate Illustrated Magazine, The North America Sport Karate Association, Sport Karate International and the National Black Belt League have all recognized members of Coastal Martial Arts as champions. With our members having won awards at regional, national and international levels of competition. Coastal Martial Arts believes in being active in our community. We have been involved in fundraising for charity through board breakathons and kickathons. For many years now, we have presented our "Street Survival" self defense program in conjunction with our local RCMP community policing office. We have taught self-defense in schools, to girls groups, and most recently through the Port Alberni Parks and Recreation department. Through it all, the Coastal Martial Arts School continues to stay true to our long-standing commitment to small class sizes and excellence in personalized instruction. |
