My Toastmasters Journey
Toastmasters International

Although my trip has only been national so far, I have gone from coast to coast.

I first visited a club in
San Diego, California in 1981
I first joined a club in
Hermosa Beach, California in 1990
I was a frequent guest at a club in
Torrance, California in 1990 and 1991
I moved to Massachusetts and joined
Central Toastmasters of Worcester, Massachusetts in 1991
On a visit to Cambridge, a recommendation from a District Officer, and a "You would be most welcome at a meeting" from the VP Membership, I became a dual member in
Toastmasters @ MIT in 1992
My schedule changed and I was no longer able to attend mettings, so my membership lapsed, but I kept running into a fellow Toastmaster, Ruth Levitsky, who recommended that I join
Boston Speech Party
I was an area governor for
Area C1
I am now a division governor for
Division C
My schedule has again changed, so I have joined
Professional Learning Center Toastmasters @ MIT
The Tuesday evening version of Toastmasters @ MIT is in the process of chartering as a new club!
Tuesday Evening Toastmasters @ MIT
Now, I am
Division C Governor
And I have joined the advanced club
Paul D. Stackpole Service Club
