"I hope I don't get all choked up at the altar" Brian was already mentally nervous at the event that was to take place in two hours, the day that would change his life, make him a married man.
"Man, you won't, just calm down.." Nick said as he adjusted Brian's tie.
"I know, I know, but I've waited for this day....and now I'm freaking out...and I know shes gonna start bawling and I can't contain myself when she cries, ya know?" Brian sighed as he nervously popped his kunkles.
"Hell no, is that a smudge in my make up, look at this peice of hair, it won't stay up..." Amber rambled, running up to Whitney as she pointed to a spot on her cheek and threw her hand up in a gesture pointing towards her hair.
Whit laughed before examining her, "No Am, its a freckle and your hair looks fine, don't worry about it...you look like your supposed to" Whit assured.
"Your make up is going to run anyways when you start crying, whats the big deal?" Lauren asked as she joined the two.
"It will?" Amber asked as she exhaled.
"Lauren, your alot of help in times like these and no, it won't, you've got that run proof shit on...now chill....before I go crazy" Whitney answered.
"You go crazy, I'm bout to loose my mind" AJ said as he walked up behind Lauren.
"Awww, look at you all dressed up in your tux, don't you just look adorable" Lauren laughed as she turned to face him.
"AJ, what are you doing in here, its called the bride's dressing room, meaning no guys allowed..." Whitney stated looking at him as she listened to Amber continue to ramble.
"Well its not like ya'll are naked or anything in here, I had to get out of that room, between Howie and Brian you can't breathe because of cologne...." AJ explained.
"You don't have that much room to be talking..." Ashley said as she stood beside them, smelling the strong scent that followed with AJ.
"Why am I nervous, why am I nervous, what is wrong with me...." Brian paced the hall, running his hands through his hair, making sure not to mess it up in the process.
"I gotta get some fresh air.." Amber began as she started to walk out the door, into the hall, just as her foot crossed over the barrier of the door Whit forcefully pulled her back. "Damn Whit, I don't need to break something right now, what are you doing, cause you rip my dress we are going to fight..." she said, making sure everything was in place.
"Sorry, but you know how the groom isn't supposed to see the bride and Brian is out in the hall..." Whit began.
"When did you become so traditional?" AJ asked as he passed by them, going out into the hall.
"Hey man, no fair you got to see the bride before I did...." Brian whined as he saw AJ emerge from the girl's reserved room.
Two hours later Amber was thinking to herself, 'breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out' as she stood at the back of the church, awaitng her moment to enter. Five minutes later the moment came. Brian smiled as soon as she appeared, making her way down the aisle, he knew this was perfect. She was the one and right now he was more than sure of it, he studied her brown eyes and tendrils of hair as her small body walked towards him. His heart rate sped up and he swallowed deeply as she stood at his side. He met eyes with his best man which was his brother, and his groomsmen, the other guys. They all smiled to themselves and Brian took the hint.
Amber's eyes got wide as she finally came to a halt and nervously glanced up at her maid of honor, Whit since she had no sisters. Her bridesmades were the remaining girls. Whitney caught her eyes and started to laugh slightly. Amber looked away before she started to laugh herself, she would have flicked her off if they wouldn't have been in a church.
Amber and Brian looked at one another as they lit their candle of unity, "Hope I don't catch something on fire.." Brian whispered, only for Amber to hear. They both laughed to themselves as they joined hands, both shaking. "I do" Brian stated as a few tears rolled down his cheeks, he wouldn't have cried, if she hadn't.
"By the power invested in me I hereby pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Brian Thomas Littrell, you may kiss your bride" the priest declared as he closed his bible and turned his attention to the congreation. Brian and Amber turned to one another, as he lifted her veil he wiped the tear that slid down her cheek with his thumb and leaned in for their kiss.
"I've got one word to describe these two, perfect. They've made it this far and I wish them the best of luck in the future, I got three words for your honey moon though, and only a select few know what I'm talking about 'ride it cowboy', but seriously I wish you the best.." Nick stated as he laughed, finishing his toast to the couple he took his seat back beside Whit.
"I can't believe you said that.." Whit whispered as placed his hand in her lap, holding onto her hand.
The night was spent dancing until your bones ached. By two AM everyone was gone, making their way home while Amber and Brian were on a plane, their destination, Europe where they'd tour for a week, then off to Australia for a week. Brian looked over at Amber who sat beside him on the plane, he smiled as he brushed a stray peice of hair from her eyes. Amber smiled back as she traced circles on Brian's thigh with her thumb. Minutes later they were holding hands as they flew over the Atlantic, both looking at the sparkling of the diamond in Amber's wedding band as small peices of light hit it. It bound them together, forever.
Whitney sighed as she closed her eyes, feeling Nick soon get into bed beside her. "Whats wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing.." Whitney answered as she rolled over to face him, opening her eyes.
"You sure?" Nick asked as he wrapped his arms around her.
"Yea, I'm sure" Whit whispered as she closed her eyes again.
"I love you" Nick said as he pulled her body closer to his own.
"I love you too" Whit said back as she cuddled up to his chest and drifted off.
