About Disc Dogs

Disc Dogs is a widely growing and fast paced sport.
If you have a dog who loves to run and leap, and who loves to catch, Disc Dogs just might be for you! Please don't start your dog at catching if it is under 12 months! A puppy's body is still growing before then, with the exception of larger breeds, who take longer to grow. To place stress (of jumping) on a puppys bones can cause the unfused growth plates to slip, and cause serious damage. You can use your pup's first year to introduce him to the frisbee, and develope a good recall and retrieve. This is also a great time to work on his behavior to create wonderful doggy manenrs, and a good solid
FIVE BASIC COMMANDS.
