Coalition 3's Biography
This whole mess started in the summer of about 1999 when two stupid, bored, and punk loving adolescents by the names of jim and zach wanted to do something. With their musical talent and love for music, they thought "why not start a band ?".  And this they did. In september of 2000 zach purchased his fender bass and little peavey practice amp and jim purchased his peavey guitar and amp. on the first day of practice, not knowing what they were doing, they came up with 2 songs. 1- i forget the name and 2- the swan song.
They went through many names and many different idea's and style changes but of course they still sucked. They knew they needed a drummer. They called on many peopleto drum but either they were stupid or they were assholes and blew off the oppurtunity.
Worse came to worse and jim and zach thought of just quitting. But then it hit them. Their previous ''manager'' jesse martinson, wanted to drum. and that he did. In the summer of 2001 jesse got his drums and caught on very very quickly. By then jim and zach had gotten excellent at their instruments and zach had gotten a very nice and loud PA system. They started playing.
Later in summer of 2001 they switched their name to Final Insight which many knew us as and became a ska core band. They stayed that style for about half of summer and then realized it wasnt their style. They switched AGAIN to what they are now. straight out hardcore melodic punk rock.
By the beginning of school in 2001 people had heard of ''final insight'' and all agreed they were damn good for not being together for over a year. Another possibility is the aspect of sounding good because Jim had been lucky enough to have bought Steve (from yardsale's) old gibson, so that improved them A LOT (thank you steve). Then they changed their name to what it is now and shall ever be, coalition 3.
Now in the beginning of 2002, jim is equiped wit a gibson les paul studio and a marshall half stack soon to be full stack. Zach has a fender bass and a combo ampeg soon to be fullstack, and Jesse has a Pearl Export Series. We are going to be recording our cd in the begining of MAY.  Cost yet is to be determined but about 5 dollars no more than that.
Thanks to all for indulging in the history of coalition 3. Hope to see everyone our  shows.
