"At Risk" Continued
In the Years 2000 through 2002 the program worked with several other students and visited a local counties "Alternative School". This is a school for students that are repeat offenders or discipline problems.
"Gifted"
These are the students that School Counselors have determined are "gifted" because of their test scores and their inclination to do academic studies and attend college. The Coalfield Education Endeavor has traveled to high schools and met with several students. Because of the difference between "at risk" and "gifted" the C.E.E. visited the schools and talked with the students en masse. Some were elementery, JROTC or gifted & talented.
