Season Report 2004/2005

Last year we only played 16 games. This season it was 27, so it a busy old season. Our first game was away at West Chiltington. We had 99% of the game, but lost 1v0 (Simon's 40 yard shot was ruled out for off-side!!!!). After that we went on a great run of 8 wins in ten games.

Our new keeper, Big Sav, was one big reason for this success. Other new players joined the Coalie this season : Jon, Sam, Tim & Joe. So the future of the team looks good.

We struggled a bit in the second half of the season, but did pick up a few good results and finally finished in 5th place. In the Cups we lost in the Quarter Final of the Div 4 Cup and 4th Round of the Hants Cup. We finished the season off with the now traditional 6-a-side tournament, meal & prize giving.

The trophy cabinet wasn't totally empty this season. We picked up the Guy Walker Sportsmanship Trophy...congrats to all.

Another great season. Here's to many more.
