We are not trying to be like other volleyball clubs, but to give the players in Fleetwood an avenue that they can continue to grow with their teammates, both now and in the future. We attempt to give players of all ages, 11 to 18, a challenging environment while allowing other activities to be a part of the volleyball player's life. Practices and tournaments are scheduled to allow for maximum player involvement in the sport, without having to sacrifice the rest of their hobbies and activities, both related to school and otherwise.
It is our intent to form teams based on age and skill to make the best fit of players that show interest in playing with our club. We do not go out and recruit the top players in the county to play for our club, as we hope to build the club with players from Fleetwood first. We will have players from outside who show interest in the club participate as needed.
While winning is an incentive, it is not the thrust of our effort. We look for each team to be competitive in the events that they enter and to move forward in the development of their volleyball skills.
Most of all, we seek players who want/desire/need to play volleyball for the love of the sport and the goal of continued improvement.
