All games will be four 7 min. stop clock quarters. There is no press until the last 2 in of last quarter. Only man to man defense. No Zones. In the 5+6 grade level there will be no double teaming. Each team will get 4 timeouts to be used anytime in the game. There will be no 3 point shots, All othere PIAA rules will apply unless indicated above.

This league is designed to give boys in grades 4-7 a place to play Basketball in a league format from May until July.
There are two levels of play . Players in Grade 4-6 Fall of 2009. Second level is Grades 7-8 Fall of 2009. Each team will play 10 games in regular league play. Games are played Monday through Sunday at Fleetwood MS Gyms starting April 1, 2009. Team coaches based on availability of themselves and the players will let the league commissioner know when during the playing schedule they are available to play. In middle to late April once all teams have finished their 10 game schedule, playoffs will start. Each team will play at least one game in the playoffs. The standings at the end of league play will determine playoff matchups. Winners will continue on in the playoff.
Fleetwood teams will be formed by the league commissioner. Players will be placed on teams based on availablity related to other activities as well as grade level and the commissioners knowlege of the players abilities. The commissioner will try to form teams from Fleetwood that are as even as possible.
Cost per player is $35.00 for Fleetwood district residents and $40.00 for all others. For this cost each player receives a team jersey and 10 league games plus one playoff games.
