NEWS Catonsville 9-10 Baseball Orioles
Congratulations to Josh on an awesome GRAND SLAM!
If you want to pitch you will need to show up early to the games, so that we can show the things you need to know before we throw you out there. I am at the field an hour before games. *(That doesn't mean that if you show up early you will pitch that game, but put the time in and you could be on the mound.)*

The Coach's Rules 1. We're out here to have fun, so take that as an order 2. I try to put each child into a position to succeed. They might not have been dreaming of being the second baseman, or right guard, but they might be the best on the team for that position. 3. Parents should be involved. Even if you just bring water for the kids every other game, it means a lot to your kids that you are active in some way with their sport. 4. Don't scream at the Umpire or Referee. That's my job. I can't effectively coach if I need to watch my parents. 5. I am a coach...not a babysitter. Accidents can happen, and I am not authorized, nor do I have the right to make decisions for your child's well-being outside of the scope of the sport we're participating in. 6. Did I mention to have fun? |
