You are to attend a Summit in the Richmond, VA area. Your mission is to clandestinely attend multiple panels and activities to learn about the regional activities. Please clear your schedule for the days of April 20-22 2007 now. The hotel at which you should stay, the Comfort Inn and Conference Center-Midtown, has several styles of rooms available for your use during your stay there. The Standard Room is $69.00 a night, 1-4 person occupancy (except for single bed rooms, 1-2 person occupancy) and will have 2 Double Beds (or 1 King Bed). Also available at the Summit rate are rooms with Wheelchair accessible counters. Just ask for a handicap room for the summit rate. Several are in the block of rooms requested. The Suites are $99.00 a night, 1-2 person occupancy and have two rooms. The bedroom has a King Bed (only). The second room has a Pull-Out Couch Bed, and Micro Fridge in a mini kitchen complete with sink. General Sessions, Panels (other than SFMC) and the Banquet will be held in the largest Meeting Room, "Die Another Day", a/k/a the "Washington Room". Gaming, Silent Auction, Sales Floor, and Dance will be held in the second largest Room, "MoonRaker", a/k/a the "Jefferson Room". The STARFLEET Marines will have the "Golden Eye" room to themselves for the whole weekend, a/k/a the "Harrison Room". The Academy will have a room to test in as well. Any other need of the region will be in the "Diamonds Are Forever" room, a/k/a the "Monroe Room". We have planned for the Marine Muster on Friday night, too, in the "Man With the Golden Gun" room, a/k/a the "Madison Room/3200 City Grill (located on site)". The Regional Coordinator will have a Staff Room in the Third Floor Board Room (away from the Summit Meeting Rooms). The Summit Staff will have a Board Room on the Second Floor. Both Boardrooms are accessible to the elevators. The Meeting Room Package, which includes all rooms mentioned, is $3000. The Deposit Due is $200, payable in the month (March or April 2006) after we win the bid. The remainder of $2800 is due the week before the summit in April 2007.
