SHORT RANGE MISSILES:

The short range missiles are carried in important number by the UN variable fighters and destroids; they represent the most important part of these mecha's firepower and are often used in barrage fire; many pilots know the terror that inflicts a huge volley of SRM's used in short range, only aces manage to get out of such situations.

MEDIUM RANGE MISSILES:

The medium range missiles is the first weapon used in an aerospace engagement, these missiles have a long range and are perfect for a first hit with the safety of distance; they dispose of many different payloads depending of the targets, note that due to their advanced technology they can be used as well on aerospace targets than on ground based ones.

The long range missiles are heavy weapons designed for taking out capital ships or command mecha, they are only issued to competent attack pilots for operations including heavy engagement; as their medium range counterparts, the LRM's can be used against ground based targets.

HIGH MANEUVERABILITY MISSILES:

Known as the new generation of missiles used in air to air combat by the UN Armed forces, the High Maneuverability missiles benefits from the limited Artificial Intelligence processors developed in 2040 with the project Super Nova; even if not always deployed on the battlefield, these weapons had to enter service as the standard VF ordinance for the line fighters such as the VF-19 Excalibur. With such missiles thought, the upgraded version of the VF-11 Thunderbolt keeps a technological advantage on other variable fighters, in such combats, the first who has fired generally wins.

These weapons are only issued for special mission, the Dumbfire not being guided, they are always used for ground support; the Wild Weasel are well known HARM missiles to clear enemy defense positions; and the Pacificator is one of the new generation of disabling weapons issued for spacecraft capture.
