| here i am at at WW2 bunker in Smizerholf, France. the fort was occupied by the Germans when they were trying to take over France. the fort is solid concret and about 2 meters thick with 3 large weapons for defense. the fort is actually conected to several other fort via under ground tunnels. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| over to the right is a German pill box, they had them located all over once again solid concrete and very hard to destroy. these particular pill boxes were located above the fort i am standing next to in the pic above, in the war the Germans would stand in these boxes with there 50mm guns and some even had 75mm and 88mm guns they would use to shoot at alied troops and their. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
