This is my truck I use primarily anytime I need to pull my 18' carhauler especially if I'm pulling a truck on it. This is a 1979 F-250 4x2 with a 460 I put in it in place of the old 351M. The 460 and C-6 tranny has about 40K miles on it now and is out of a 1983 cube van that was crunched by a semi. Its got a mild torquey cam in it and its got a edelbrock intake on it. The c-6 is the wide ratio type c-6 and doesn't seem to mind the heavy loads one bit. The rear end is a stock Dana 60 with 3.07 gears. I was going to put 4.10's in the rear but it pullls so well with the 3.07s and the 460 I never bothered.
