Come on in. Don't worry, it's not occupied! Taking bubble baths is one of our favorite past-times. If you would like to know how to make your own scented bath salts or moisturizers, then you have come to the right place. So, turn on the water and hop in. Relax and enjoy!
 Peppermint Bath Crystals
2 cups epsom salts
1/2 cup sea salt
4-6 drops peppermint oil
2-3 drops food coloring
Place one cup of epsom salts and 1/4 cup sea salt in a bowl or plastic bag. Add 2-3 drops of peppermint oil. (More if you would like to; you can also use any scent you want) Place remaining ingredients in a second bowl. Mix. Layer red and white salts in clear bottle or jar, tie with ribbon and small candy canes. Great gift!
Peppermint Foot Cream
Unscented body lotion
Essential oil of peppermint (or whatever kind you prefer)
Essential oil of lavender (or whatever kind you prefer)
Add 12 drops of peppermint oil and 5 drops of lavender to 1/2 cup of body cream. Stir. Store in plastic or glass container. Soak feet in warm water, exfoliate, rub on foot cream. Put some socks on and put up your feet. Your feet will love you for it!
Oatmeal and Milk
Muslin bag or fabric
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 tablespoon apricot kernel oil (health food store)
No, this isn't for breakfast! :o) Oatmeal and milk are great moisturizers. Grind oatmeal in blender until fine. Mix oats and milk. Add apricot oil and mix. Place in muslin bag or fabric. Throw into running water of hot bathtub. Sponge your body with bag for extra softening. Add some lavender oil if you would like. Lavender is a natural sleep enhancer. You can also use this mixture on your face. Instead of putting in fabric, add water to make a paste, rub on face, then rinse.
