Thank you for taking a moment to visit the Martians.  It is estimated that within the next century, the current population on Mars will surpass five billion people.

Terraforming technology has grown by leaps and bounds to the point that once our planet Earth is burned to a crisp and all of its resources are depleted, people will simply put "for sale" signs in front of their homes and book a U-Haul to Mars.  But what about the first residents of Mars?  The natives?

I am not talking about the human residents who staked claims under domed cities, but the "original" residents who were there for millenia before we dusted the landscapes with heavy boot prints.

Lets take a moment to meet some of those poor orphaned native Martians who are living in shelters and depend on the kindness of humans to permit them to grow up and live the new life that awaits them under human Government.

Snowflake
Eggplant
Hoot
Snowflake is the oldest little Martian girl in the orphanage and often assists new children and animals that come to live there.  Snowflake is about the equivalent of a ten year old human child. Eggplant is a Martian kitten who was abandoned and found near a terraforming site.  Pets share their living quarters in the orphanage with the children while giving them love and affection. Hoot is a computer android with his own plug in power cord.  He was left behind by Martians fleeing the planet when humans took it over.  He now instructs the children in Martian culture.
Winky
Blinky
Nod
Winky is one of three triplet Martian boys pictured here who are approximately nine years old.  His hobbies are Martian stick ball and hydroponics. Blinky is the second of the triplet boys pictured here.  Blinky enjoys Martian dune mobiling and studying space and time anomalies.  He and his brothers are inseparable. Nod is the comedian of the group and the third in the triplet boys pictured here.  He loves watching his Reebo And Zooty tapes when he is not playing Martian video games.
Edco
Adler
King
Edco is one of the toddlers who rely on the help of the older children.  He enjoys learning to read the Martian book discs. Adler is the same age as Edco and is his best friend.  He spends a lot of his time playing with Martian 4-D laser puzzles. King, also a toddler, found his toy crown outside of a newly constructed fast food hamburger place and wears it proudly night and day.
Fee
Fi
Fo
Fee is the first of these quadruplet girls pictured here.  She and her sisters arrived at the orphanage after her parents died in a spacecraft accident. Fi is the second of the quadruplet girls.  She and her sisters were in the spacecraft when the accident happened and spent a long time recovering in the hospital. Fo is the third of the quadruplet sisters.  She and her sisters were grateful that reconstructive surgery allowed them all to resume their normal lives.
Fum
Cruiser
Lindaru
Fum is the fourth of the quadruplet girls.  They are all very happy to be alive together but miss their parents very much. Cruiser is the oldest boy in the orphanage and loves to spend his free time with his visor and sunglasses outdoors sunbathing. Lindaru spends a lot of time at the orphanage caring for the animals and children there.  As a Martian herself, she takes pride in doing this.

These little Martian orphans do not require much . . . a few "oohs" and "ahs" and maybe once in a while an "oh isn't that cute?" can make a big difference.  These young beings need to remember what Mars was before we invaded . . . that their world belonged to them and along with it, the rich culture.

Remember when you are planning your vacation and buying your shuttle tickets to shoot off fireworks near Argyre Planitia or preparing for a romantic cruise through Chryse Gulf to Isidis Bay that Mars is now your home but more importantly, home to those few young ones who remained.  Please do not litter, pollute or destroy any pieces of their world.

There is also great work to be done on Planet Earth in helping sick and injured animals . . . be sure to visit Animal Accident Rescue Unit  today!
