Hasbro has done some pretty things in 3D lately. The one thing I don't like about the 3D image they created for G.I. Joe
is that their movies look and feel a lot like little plastic toys.
Don't get me wrong, I realize that G.I. Joes 'are' little plastic toys, but thinking back to the days of the Sunbow cartoon
(the standard for all G.I. Joe animation), when you watched that show you felt that you were really watching characters.
I am attempting to recreate the chemistry that existed in the original series. My target audience is the people who watched the
original, but I will not put anything over PG in my movies so the kids can watch them too. The original series was full of great
writing. I want to take that a step furthur so that it's not only clever, but can be even a little serious at times.
Of course I'd love to spend all my time just making G.I. Joe movies, but I have a life full of stuff to do. If you like what you
