Q: How can I get to your apartment from Taoyuan International Airport? A: (1) From the airport, take the Air Bus (NT$135) bound for Banciao City and get off at Taipei MRT Yongning Station (first stop; about 38 minutes). (2) Cross the road, take Bus #916 (NT$30) at the bus stop near the left side of Exit 1 of MRT Yongning Station, and get off at Front Gate of National Taipei University (4th stop; about 15 minutes). (3) From NTPU Front Gate, walk about 4 minutes to the Elite Building at 309 Da-guan Road. (4) Or, you can get to my apartment from Taoyuan International Airport by taxi. A: Sorry, I can not meet you at the Airport, but I will meet you at Taipei MRT Yongning Station or Taipei Railway Station. It is easy to find the Air Bus counter at the Airport, book a ticket (bound for Banciao, NT$135), take the bus, and get off at Taipei MRT Yongning Station (first stop; about 40 minutes). Again, it is easy to find the Kuokuang Bus counter at the Airport, book a ticket (bound for Taipei Railway Station, NT$125), take the bus, and get off at Taipei Railway Station (last stop; about 55 minutes). Q: How can I contact you after I arrive at Taoyuan International Airport? A: After you have reserved a suite, I will tell you my mobile phone number so that you can call me when you are at Taoyuan International Airport and for purposes of other contact while you are in Taiwan. (You can buy a public phone IC card for NT$100 at a convenience store or a SIM card for your mobile phone for about NT$350 from a mobile phone company, both in the Airport.) Q: How safe and clean is your suite? A: The Elite Building and the Farglory Cambridge Building are located in the very safe neighborhood of the National Taipei University Special District in the very safe town of Sansia in Taipei County. The buildings have 24 hour security. A resident uses an electronical security card both to enter the building and use the apartment elevator. My suites are very clean, very bright with sunlight, and very well-ventilated with natural fresh air. There is no ant, bug, mosquito, or other insect in the suite. Q: What do I need to bring to stay at your suite? A: Generally speaking, just bring your passport, visa, airplane ticket, tooth-brush, towels, clothing, and travel budget, and you will have a pleasant stay at the suite. Q: What are the sizes of your beds? A: The size of the double-bed is about 190Lx150W cm and the size of each of the twin beds is about 190Lx115W cm. Q: Is there access to the Internet in your suite? A: If you bring your own notebook, you can have free in-room 24-hour access to the Internet in the Standard Suite. You can use the computers in the library of the Farglory Cambridge Building (or your own NB) to access the Internet for free from 1pm-10pm (closed on Monday). Q: Do you have a washing machine and dryer? A: The Standard Suite does not have a washing machine, There is a coin operated washing machine and dryer on the top floor (Fare: NT$40). You can hand wash your clothing and hang it on the clothes-lines on the top floor. The High Class Suite has a washing machine and dryer. Q: Where can I change foreign money into Taiwan dollars? A: You can do it at any of the banks in the Airport, or at my place (up to NT$10,000). Q: Do I have to see you and talk to you every day? A: No, you will be on your own 24 hours a day unless you need my help or want to have a cup of tea or a meal together.
