This quilt was completed in 2004. I'm not really sure what inspired me, but it was just one of those things that you just "have to do" and aren't satisfied until you do. It now belongs to my friend Lavon and I don't think it could have ended up in a more purr-fect home as she is the biggest lover of cats I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. In the pics below you can see two of her "babies", Casper (the white one, of course) and Dagger (the beautiful Bengal) giving it their "snooze of approval". Someone once said that "no quilt is complete until it has a proper coating of cat hair on it" and I tend to agree. |
