| Peacock Block | ||||||||||||
| This is the block I made for the annual Wal Mart Quilt Block Contest in 2004. It is a variation of a very old pattern given to me by my grandmother. It won at the store level in Calera, Alabama and went on to Arkansas for judging at the national level but it didn't place there. I still feel like a winner though because it did, however go for a good cause. It was to be sewn into a quilt with other entries and used to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. | ||||||||||||
