This is the first quilt I ever made--well, the first one I ever FINISHED, anyway. And there was some debate as to whether or not I would EVER finish it. I started it in 1987---yes, you read it right---NINTETEEN EIGHTY-SEVEN. If I had a nickle for every time I started and stopped on this one I'd be a happy happy person--hehe. Finally, after a job, two kids, college and the start of a new career, I took it out and finished it in the summer of 2001. My hubby loves telling people that it took me fourteen years to make this one! |
