T-Shirts Jojie, Resty and Albert are currently working on getting t-shirts ready for sale during the jam session. We are planning to order the better quality shirts with a very nice CNHS seal (thanks to Jackie and Albert) without 1970 so we can sell it to any CNHS alumni or any interested party. We are planning to order the minimum amount of shirt (whatever that is) for sample and see if we can make money before ordering more. (Place your order now to ensure that you have one!!!) 2003 ACTIVITY A 4-day (weekday) cruise seems to be the more favored way to celebrate our 50th birthday. No definite day is set, however, plan for a week in July or August 2003. Save your vacation. This cruise departs the port of Long Beach on a Mondays and returns on Friday noon, with stop in San Diego, Catalina Island, and Ensenada, Mexico. Folks who are coming from out of town can still see Disneyland, Universal Studios and other places to see in Southern California. Price will be around $850.00 - $1045 per couple, depending on cabin locations. Third and fourth person in the room gets the discount price. Good deal for folks bringing their kids. Discount prices available if we can reserve 8 rooms or more. (Please note, rates quoted are this year's prices, 2003 rates are not available.) The other choice is weekends cruise to Mexico, which departs on Friday afternoons and returns Monday noon. This cruise does not stop in Catalina. Price is about the same as the 4-day cruise. Again, a weekend in July will be the tentative date. All cruises do not include gratuity, which is an amount set by the sailing company. We will able to have a room for one night, so we can our private get together, for $8.00 per person (service fee for drinks serve during our get together). Other choices are a dinner dance at the Queen Mary, Long Beach. Dinner starts at $30.50 for a minimum of 35 guests. Security Guards are required at a rate of $21.50 per hour, for every 100 guests. We can hire our own music band, DJ, etc. Las Vegas, Disneyland and Hawaii information are pending. We will let you know as we get more information. Next meeting: July 28, 2001 12 noon Jesse and Laura Pacho's Residence 2502 Manzana Way San Diego, CA 92139 Our sincerest thanks to Albert and Jackie Miranda for opening their home and feeding us during the meeting.
