| Snes 9x Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Windows 95, 98 or NT with at least DirectX 6 installed running on a modern, fast (e.g. Pentium 200) computer with at least 16Mb of RAM. Some games require another CPU to be emulated and/or make heavy use of colour translucency effects, so an even faster computer may be required to get an acceptable frame rate. |
