| "Please pray for Roger's Brother-in-Law, Rev. Richard Cordell. He was scheduled for heart surgery tommorrow (Tues. 11/28/00) at Duke Hospital in North Carolina, but had to be life lined there early this morning. They did two by-passes but were unable to do the worst one in the back of the heart because the arteries were embedded in the muscle. The two they did were in front of the heart and they did these to save his life. The next 24 hours will be very crucial and then they will decide if and when they will do further work on his heart. Please have your church pray for him, also. The doctor told his family that his arteries are like a 70-year old woman's arteries -- smal and in bad love." Frances Phillips 11/27/00 |
