Black-Bottom Pie
makes 8 servings
Ingredients
2/3 cup Soft Margarine
14 Graham Crackers, finely rolled (about 1 cup)
3 tablepoons Sugar
4 (1 ounce) squares Semisweet Chocolate
1/3 cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts
1 (4 serving size) package Chocolate or Vanilla Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 cup Cold Milk
1 cup Dairy Sour Cream
1 ablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa
Directions
1.) Melt 1/3 cup margarine.
2.) In small bowl, combine crumbs, sugar & melted margarine.
3.) Press mixture on bottom & side of 9 inch pie plate; set aside.
4.) In small sauce pan, over medium het, melt remaining margarine & chocolate, stirring until smooth.
5.) Stir in 1/3 cup pecans or walnuts & spread on bottom of prepared crust; set aside.
6.) Prepare pudding as directions indicate using milk; stir in sour cream.
7.) Spread into prepared crust.
8.) Chill at least 1 hour.
9.) Before serving, whip heavy cream & cocoa until stiff & garnish pie with whipped cream & nuts.
