Trip Committee 07/27/06 The following suggestions have been made for future trips: Less camping trips – more leisure trips August 06: River Camp USA September 06: Ravens Knob October 06: Table Rock SC November 06: Fall Camporee December 06: 2008: TRIP TO EUROPE While it won't be possible for us to make plans for all of these locations right away, the Trip Committee will take these suggestions under advisement and begin to look at how we can plan these events.
01/18/04 Biking Merit Badge plans In preparation for the Biking Merit Badge, it will be necessary to complete (2) 10 mile trips, (2) 15 mile trips, (2) 25 mile trips and (1) 50 mile trip. You know, you just can't get on a bike and ride, so we set up a schedule that goes like this: We'll need to get together and find out where you want to ride next to accomplish our goals. I'll give credit to Travis, Nick, Spencer, Nathan, Chris L., for 25 miles (the preliminary 5 miler near UNCC and the 17 miler at the VA Creeper) provided I get the reports for both. We still need to do some 10, 15, 25 and a 50 miler. |
