Topic: On Your Watch.

Text: Mk 13: 4-13.

A believer stands upon a watch tower. He is to be on his guide watching and waiting unto the Lord's appearing. The end of all things is near, a little while and the days of grace will be over. Are you watching it or are you watching out?.

What I say to you I say to all Watch!.  Remember the small boys story.

 

Q1. What are the things we need to watch in for?.

1. Your heart.  Can it deceive you, How?. Why do God search our heart and how can you keep your heart?. (Jer 17: 9-10, Prov 4: 21-23, Prov 29:13, ).

What do God search in us? And why?. I Sam 16:6-7.

 

2.  Your ways.  Why do we need to watch our ways?. Prov 5:21.

How can we guide our ways?. (Prov 4:14-15).

Can God's way be made known to us and How? (Ps 103:7, 16:11)

 

3. Your Tongue.  Why do we need to watch our tongue and how? (Prov 18: 20-21, Ps 141:3)..

 

4. Your focus.

What should be our focus in life? (Heb 11: 8-9, I cor 3:11), Relationship with God, prayer life.

 

Q3. What are the things we need to watch out for?. 

 

1. What God hates.  What are the things that God hate? (Prov 6:17-19,  James 3:16, 4:6).

What should we do to what God hates?.  

 

2. Being Deceived.   Can we be deceived and how?. (Mk 13:5-6)

 

3. Being Hated.  Can we be hated, How?. What can you do when you are hated? (MK 13:13).

 

4. Temptations.  Can you be tempted and how?.

What can you do to avoid it?. (Mt 26:41, 1 Tim 6:9)).

 

5. False prophets.  What can they do to you and how can you overcome them?. Mk 13:6.

 

6. Things not see. 2Cor 4:18.

 

7. The things happening. Mk 13:29.

 

Q3. Why do we need to watch out?

1. Because no one knows the hour. Mk 13:36.

2. You will be blessed.  Lk 12:37.

3. The days are bad.

4. Your enemies are after you.

5. Waiting for our master. Lk 12:35-36.

 

In the way we watch:

1. Don't let anyone turn you aside.

2. Don't be derailed from what God want you to be.

3. Keep awake.

4. Don't be easily deceived.
