Text: Lk 19:12-27.
Introduction
To occupy is to do business, to trade or
work for gain. We are entrusted to manage the affairs of the kingdom while
Christ is away. The power and authority he laid within out hands was not for
wealth but to be focused in doing our masters business? Business is business!.
1. The ten servants each was given one
equal pound to occupy with Lk 19:13. The money was a working capital to do
business with.
Q1. As children of God, what has God
given us equally?. Lk 3:6, Jn 2:9
Q2. What gifts do we posses from God.?
1Cor 7:7, Acts 2:38, Mt 10:1,2Cor 9:15
To
occupy is a task. Jesus is expecting something from us when he returns.

Q4. How can we carry out the task?.
Lk19:10, Acts 1:8, Mat 28:19-20
Q5. What does the lord require of you?
The business. Mat 6:33. Rom 14:17, Micah 6:8, Lk 12:37. Heb 2:3, 1 Tim 4:13-14,
Q6. What is the title of your position?
2 Cor 5:20. What does it demand of us?.

Q8. How many groups of people will
christ meet at his return?.
Q9. Are there rewards for us in this
business? What are they. 2 Tim 4:8, 1 Pet 5:4.
a. The
faithful crowd. Carried out the business.
Reward: They earned an equivalent of
their labor.
Q10. Where they given any extra
responsibility?. Why?
Q11. Is any extra responsibility in
Church or fellowship of any value? Why?.
b.
Neglectful crowd Lk19:20-26.
No business. Wrapped and hid it. Did nothing.
Q12. What was his reward? Lk 19:24
Q13. Why did he not do the business? Do
we have any excuse for not doing the fathers business? Who are they in our
society?
c. Hateful crowd Lk19:22.
Q14. Who are this crowd of people in the
world today? LK19:14
Q15. What will be there reward. Mk 8:38,

Give brief illustration of how the

Conclusion: Do the fathers business, be
faithful and you will be rewarded accordingly. A day of reckoning awaits all.
