Pre-Marriage Questions for Believers during Courtship

 

1.       Are you both Christians? 2 Cor. 6:14.

2.       Do you love each other with Biblical love? I Cor. 13: 4-7.

Put your name, and after that, your future partner’s name, wherever “love” occurs in the passage.

3.       Do you help each other to grow closer to God?        

4.       Can you work together?

5.       Can you play together?

6.       Are you proud of each other?

7.        Do you have common interests?

8.       Do you share the same values?

9.       Do you feel comfortable the way you make decisions together?

10.   Do you have trust in each other?

11.   Are you more creative and energetic with each other?

12.   Can you accept and appreciate each other’s family?

13.   Is this person you are considering someone you cannot live without?

14.   Is this the person you would like to spend the rest of your life with?

15.   Is this the person you would like to be the mother (or father) of your children?

16.   Do you have unresolved relationships in the past? Have you dealt with your past sins?

17.   Have you spent time together?

18.   Have you “fought” and forgiven?

19.   Have you talked about each area of life?

20.  Have you had counselling? A minimum of 10 hours is recommended with your Pastor.
