Torn between the life he wants to lead and his fathers wishes.
My mother passed away when I was just a boy, I dont remember how my father wouldnt tell me, he just kept saying "I will tell you when you are old enough". As a boy I was always wondering in the woods, trying to make friends with the animals, and just enjoying nature. The only problem was that my father wanted me to be a knight and kept telling me that everything in nature was meant to concoured, and controlled by the strong. When the whole time all he wanted was for me to become a knight so he could live comfortably off of me. Every day he would make me practice with his old mace, lecturing me on how to be a true knight ( looking back I now know that he never knew what it meant to be a true knight), he would make me cut wood and kill the animals I wanted to befriend to make money to send me to the masters to train. But every night I would sneak out of my room with my bow and run through the woods tracking and trying to tame animals, and I hoped that one day I would be able to become a Ranger.
This continued for many years until I was finally ready to join a guild and begin my fathers quest to make me a knight. The night before I was to set out I was wondering through the woods enjoying my last night in the forest that I had loved since I was a child, when I happened upon an old man sitting on a stump, "Might you have any food to spare", he asked. "This is all that I have, but you are welcome to it." he thanked me and went on his way, when I returned home I found my father sitting at the table with a half empty bottle of wine and my bow. "You ungrateful little whelp, after all I have done for you this is the thanks I get." He screamed, and picked up the bow and broke it across the table. It pained me to see my bow destroyed but I held my ground. "You are just as bad as your mother was, the trollop, I should have taken care of you both at the same time, but I thought you would turn out different. Boy was I wrong" With tears in my eyes I look at him and said," The truth finally comes out, I should kill you but I wont. I am not like you, as of this day I have no father, live or die with your crime I care not" with that I grabbed my pack and left and never looked back.
I set off bound for everywhere and nowhere at the same time, I walked on for hours until I saw a campfire. When I got up to the fire there was no one there, but there was a scroll on a stump so I picked it up and read it. "You dont need any training from me Aramon, you are ready to follow your path. Take what ever you want from this camp, it is all meant for you, and journey to Britain, you will find friends there that will aid you." When I looked through the camp I found supplies some gold a new bow (I found out later that it was enchanted), and a green tunic of studded leather armor (I found out that this was Ranger armor and very rare), so with my gifts in my pack I set out for Britain. When I arrived I was amazed by the city and its inhabitants and I took to wandering about, after awhile I found a pass through the mountains. When I reached the other side I met the Squire Eglund who befriended me and asked me to join the guild of the Lost Kings, but on the way to the house we were set upon my monsters and had to make a run for it and became separated. I was killed and resurrected many times before I found the guild house, where I was brought back my Majesty Michael, and that is how I became a member of the Lost Kings guild.
