husband, best friend, soulmate Luke,
our
daughters, grandsons, Florida sunsets, seashells, giggling with friends.
Carolyn was born in Louisville, KY
(home
of the KY Derby) and her entire
family
lives there (she's the only escapee).
She
was an army wife for 23 years and traveling the world, including living
in Germany twice, and moving many times. After the X ran away, Thank
God, she settled back in KY to be near family. A few years later
she falls in love and married Luke from WV and moved again (19th move in
27 years).
And,
can you believe they hope to move to Florida permanently in a couple years?
Yes,
their final resting place.
Between
the 2 of them, they have 4 daughters and 3 grandsons. All the grandbabies
are in KY, thus, many getaway trips to KY for baby hugs and gooey kisses.
Traveling is what they do best as retired folks and they take off as often
as possible when not ebaying, which is a supposed part-time job to supplement
Luke's pension and the "colonel's" pension AKA The Spouse's Earned Share!
LOL!! At 52 and 59
they
have a long way to go to hit social security. So to quote the grandkids,
they are "so tired" aka "retired"
Carolyn
and Luke both
enjoy
photography and have been published. Luke is a professional and collects,
sells, trades, repairs cameras as his "puttering around" hobby. Carolyn
just plain "putters" around all the time between all her different hobbies
and, of course, the TV is always on with a movie of
some
sort playing. A real movie buff and trivia expert. Who Wants
to be a Millionaire?
Carolyn
enjoys trading on CN, chatting with old friends and making new ones.
She's proud to be a CN member since 1998. Her main collection was
TY beans but she's moving out into Disney, advertizing beans and any
other
bears that strike her fancy. Thanks to luvsunny and friends for all
