My Father's Chopper Page The Chopper Page

These pics where taken back in the 70's about 1974 ,

this is how his chopper looked when he first picked it up

it had struts on the back and I don't know the make of the frame

the springer I believe is a 14" over

>

some time in 75 he swapped frames and went with a stock 71 sportster Frame

I have no idea why and he can't remember either,

the springer remains, as do the dual headlights

seats are switched ,

and shocks are used instead of the struts

the engine is rebuilt because of a broken primary chain,

and performance cams are put in

the heads were ported and polished

SS valves and a 3 angle valve job are done

the bike was sold in 1981 and not seen untill the fall of 2002

">

These pics were taken in December 2002

using a P&P(?) girder, stock frame with the neck cut and raked

the swing arm was cut and stretched 3 1/2inches

the seat is an old Drag Specialties which was cut up by the PO

the engine is rebuilt and under the old towel ,

the tank is a dual cap, single piece fatbob style, possibly an old AMEN tank

wheels are 5 spoke Invaders 19" front, 16" rear
