The Men's Soccer club is in it's ninth year of being a student organization at Central Michigan University. The Men's Soccer club is a member of the very competitive Mid-Western Alliance Soccer Conference (MASC) which is Region III of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA). We are always looking to improve the club with students that are competitive, committed, and enthusiastic towards soccer.

Purpose:

The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for individuals to take part in the game of soccer. The team promotes physical fitness, team work, team unity, and development of an individual's soccer skills.

Requirements For Membership:

Every player must take part in tryouts. Players are selected by the e-board appointed for that particular season. After chosen for the team, players must pay a $180.00 fee, and agree to come to all practices and games unless there is a scholastic obligation or if given permission by the e-board.

Method Of Officer Selection:

Officers for the club team are selected through democratic means. Individuals are nominated and voted on by other existing team players. If difficulty arises in filling a position, a member of the team is then appointed by other members on the board.

Non-Discrimination Clause:

All players selected for this team must be male. Players are chosen based upon athletic ability, pre-existing soccer skills, and good attitudes. Players are not discriminated against based upon their ethnic, racial, sexual, or religous backgrounds.
