What is a DM?
Well, he or she is actually several things:
The story teller/narrator,
The moderator/referee,
The judge/jury/executioner,
The person with the rules,
The one who runs the game, and
He who is like unto a god to the characters.
Also the DM plays the parts of:
Monsters,
Enemies,
NPC's
Other adventurers
General Public
Notable Figures
And anything else the characters encounter.
Being a DM requires lots of time, effort, concentration, and imagination.
