About Mr. Prohias
I was born in Havana, Cuba in 1952. I came to the United States in 1960. I have lived in New Jersey and Florida. I graduated from the University of Miami in 1976 with a bachelor's of education degree. I later received my master's degree from Nova University. I taught for four years at the Miccosukee Indian Reservation in the Everglades. Since 1980 I have been teaching at Centennial Middle School. I am certified to teach classes in Social Science, Mathematics and Business Education. I haver taught classes in U.S. History, World History, Civics, Geography, Basic Math, Computer Literacy, Computer Programming, Computer Applications, Photography and Spanish. I have been married for over 28 years and have two daughters. My wife is a professor for Miami Dade Community College , my oldest daughter is a dance teacher in New York City and my youngest daughter is an interior designer in South Miami.. |
