THOMAS SOUTH came to Piscataway, NJ from England before 1700 . He was a constable of Perth Amboy in 1723 and was constable of New Brunswick in 1724. Thomas South's will was proved Sept. 26 1757, which mentions his wife and two children Daniel and Joseph. Other children might have been:

William South came to this country from England in 1765, He settled in Newtown, Bucks County. He was accompanied by his Wife Barbara. Their child was Thomas, who appears in tax records in Bucks County.
John South is known to be in Radnor Township on Feb. 18, 1723/24. It is speculated that he is the ancestor of the Kentucky and South Carolina SOUTH's.
