Isabel was still reeling from the relationship advice she got from Michael of all people. Michael, who usually thought it was funny to watch other guys suffer at the mercy of their girlfriends. Isabel snorted, Ha! Like he's not in the same boat... But, still, Michael had clued her in to the fact that it wasn't Alex who said those...very wrong...things about her. Which meant that he was back to being her adorable Dodgeball. Her functional Dodgeball.

Isabel knew she most definitely had the best boyfriend. He was always there, supporting her through whatever decisions she had to make. He was just sweet, and caring and so considerate. And she had gone postal on him today. Uh oh. That meant that she made the mistake in the relationship. That she acted like a hothead. That she acted like a Michael. And now...now she had to apologize for it.

She was turning into a Michael. Or a Kyle.

Oh, no...

Although, he did totally blab the Liz's boring telescope story to everyone... But she probably couldn't really get mad about it, considering it wasn't her deal. Technically, it was probably only something Liz could be mad about...

And why was Michael the one to clue her in? And what did he want her cell phone for? What was going on with him?

The fate of her cell phone was quickly disregarded as she spotted her Alex coming down the halls, probably heading towards his car.

Isabel decided to suck it up. It was time to go reclaim her man...

Alex was doing pretty good, all things considered. He saw Michael talking with Isabel, so he was going to take that as a good sign...especially when he saw him obtain her cell phone. He could only muse on what Michael needed a phone for... He was going to make sure to be at the Crashdown tonight to watch Maria do the hyper version of her Happy Dance when she got the flowers.

But he was most definitely going to get out of this boyfriend-probation category that he was falling into, through no fault of his own. He didn't even do anything or say anything negative about his girlfriend. Or say anything that would grossly offend her... Like he was even close to being stupid enough to calling Isabel a PMSing anything... So why did she think that he said something about her that no sane guy would ever say about his own girlfriend, especially one with alien superpowers. Except Kyle...but Kyle is, really, a whole other story.

The point was, he, Alex Whitman, was in the clear of pissing his girlfriend off. He was no Michael in this situation. He was no Kyle in this situation. And that meant that she was the one who was going to apologize to him. And that meant that she was going to get frisky. Which meant things were going to be good again...

And that's when he looked up and saw Isabel coming his way.

And that meant that good things were about to start now...

"Hey Alex."

"Hey."

"I think I kind of went overboard there in the Eraser Room..."

"Kinda went overboard?"

Alex watched his Isabel do her infamous eye roll...

"Fine, I went overboard. I thought you had said something about me-"

"Hey! I didn't say it-"

"Let me finish. I know you didn't say it, okay? And so I'm sorry for believing what I heard and going all postal on you...Because, um, you didn't deserve it."

Isabel met Alex's adorable blue eyes. Eyes that she loved. Eyes that said friendship and love and loyalty. Eyes that made her feel safe in the crazy world she was living in. Eyes that she were hoping were going to accept her apology...

"No, I didn't deserve it."

"And I shouldn't have believed that you would have said it, considering Kyle was the source."

"No, you shouldn't have."

"And I acted like a jerk."

"And?" Isabel was getting frustrated by Alex's little smirk...

"Alex! Fine! And I want to make it up to you by buying you a milkshake at the Crashdown, okay?"

"Yep. Definitely okay. You know I was going to accept the apology before you offered ice cream..." And his winning grin was back, just for her...

"And?"

"Well, you offered a milkshake. I mean, it's like someone offering you some of Mrs. DeLuca's pie and saying "no". It just doesn't happen..."

"Oh, the stomach-logic of teenage boys..."

"Hey, I wasn't the one who yelled at their significant other today..."

"But you did blab to Max about Liz's little freak-attack..."

"Yeah, and he turned around and told Maria..."

"So what exactly was that incident like? I mean, what kind of a freak-out are we talking about?"

"Monumental."

"Really? So what exactly happened?"

To those looking at the couple, heads all over West Roswell still shook in wonder and amazement about the pairing of the Dodgeball geek to the goddess Ice Princess. Probably because no one ever really saw the way Isabel's face lit up whenever Alex was around...or how she put her complete faith and trust in him. Or how with him, she felt okay to be vulnerable... Or the way Alex was always aware and conscious of Isabel's emotion or feelings. Or the fact that no one ever saw Isabel the way that he saw her. No one, aside from their friends, understood that with those two, the masks were off.

"The details, milady, will have to wait until I get my milkshake."

"Oh, come on, Alex...you know you're getting it..."

"You're gonna have to wait until I spoon up my first bite of whip cream..."

But Isabel just looked at her boyfriend. No matter how great or how amazing he was, he was still a teenage boy...ruled either by his power source...

Or by his stomach...
