Note: It apperas that he was the most ill-treated of all prisoners that passed thru Columbia. He was given short rations and died shortly after The War duE to malnutrtion and general neglect. The War between the mountain passes connecting South Carolina and Georgia were much like The War in Missouri and Kansas, old fueds settled. Officers from North Carolina and even Colored Troops Officers were not generally singled out.
